Hamburg: inner city and its history.
This map is from an old school atlas from 1967 for basic schools. It shows the inner city of Hamburg from its first foundation “Hammaburg” 830 (the blue circle a bit east from the center).
Interesting is the border of 1626. Its the brown line, you can see the bastions, which became a park in the west and a railway in the east.
